Alaska Sea Grant role
Graduate student with the Alaska King Crab Research, Rehabilitation, and Biology (AKCRRAB) Program. Work for AKCRRAB includes crab husbandry and sampling for genetics and pathology research, experiments in larval rearing, and fatty acid analysis of red and blue king crab larvae. Joined Alaska Sea Grant in May 2006 as an undergraduate intern at Alutiiq Pride Shellfish Hatchery in Seward, and August 2006 as a UAF SFOS graduate student.

"Techniques for larval and postlarval mass culture of red king crab, Paralithodes camtschaticus"
Current projects
Diet and scale of rearing experiments using red king crab (Paralithodes camtschaticus) and blue king crab (Paralithodes platypus) larvae.
What I do when not at Sea Grant
I enjoy travel, photography, outdoor adventure, playing music, and recreational diving.
