8:30 a.m. Welcome and introductions
9:00 a.m. Morning field trips: Alaska SeaLife Center, Alutiiq Pride Shellfish Hatchery, or AVTEC Maritime Training Center ship bridge simulator
11:30 a.m. Lunch
12:30 p.m. Speaker: Russ Andrews, SFOS, UAF
2:00 p.m. Afternoon field trips (students go on tours not attended in the morning)
5:00 p.m. Spaghetti dinner at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 2nd Avenue & Adams Street, for coaches, students, parents and volunteers
5:30 – 7:00 p.m. NOSB Art Show, “Ocean Connection”—opening reception and art award presentation at the Alaska SeaLife Center lobby, open to the public
7:00 – 9:30 p.m. Alaska Ocean Film Festival, Seward High School auditorium, open to the public
