The Role of Sex Change, Growth,
and Mortality in Pandalus Population Dynamics and Management
Authors: C. Fu, T.J. Quinn II, and T.C. Shirley |
| To investigate the importance of sex change, growth,
and mortality, in setting management strategies, the authors performed
simulations using a length-based model. They found that populations with
sex change were more sensitive to fishing pressure. They concluded that
both sex change and seasonality of growth and mortality of Pandalus
populations should be taken into account in shrimp management. ICES
